OUR STUDIES · HOW CHINESE USERS ENGAGE WITH AI
Our studies
Two surveys with Chinese adults explore how people turn to AI for support, including trust in AI, recovery from stress and attitudes toward sharing worries. This page introduces the questions and samples. Findings will be shared after formal publication, with methods and limitations explained.
How is trust in AI related to recovery from stress?
In September 2026, 236 adults in mainland China who had discussed stress and emotions with AI took part in a questionnaire study. They answered questions about stress over the previous month, interactions with their most-used AI, trust in that AI, and their perceived ability to recover from stress. The study examines associations between these factors.
How do people view opening up to AI?
In September 2026, over 600 Chinese adults took part in three rounds of a study. It asked whether they would share worries with AI, whether they believed others would do the same, and how they viewed someone who opened up to AI.
- Both studies were conducted by Luoboli team members. All participants were at least 18, and participation was anonymous and voluntary.
- Results will be reported only as aggregate statistics, without information that identifies individuals.
- Survey data is used only for research, not for game development or other company purposes.
- Disclosure: The site’s operating company also develops the Luoboli game, an AI game for emotional exploration. This creates a commercial interest related to the subjects of these studies.
